ST´s international program

The right to organise is not evident in every country and a large part of the employees all over the world are still dismissed, persecuted, arrested, tortured and murdered because of their commitment to trade unions. ST works to promote democracy and social development on the basis of solidarity and justice without limits. Thus, through international trade union co-operation, ST supports the establishment of trade union organisations in developing countries and Eastern and Central Europe. At this moment, ST is co-operating with our sister unions and other democratic movements in Colombia, Western Africa, the Balkans, Bulgaria and South Korea with the view to share our Swedish experiences of negotiation and trade union work.
